Si vous avez un ordinateur portable HP NX6125, alors le wifi n'est pas directement fonctionnel sous Ubuntu. Voici la marche à suivre pour Dapper & Edgy :

  1. Téléchargez ce fichier sur votre bureau
  2. Ouvrez un Terminal (Applications > Accessoires > Terminal)
  3. Rendez-vous dans le dossier Desktop (cd ~/Desktop)
  4. Extraire l'archive (tar -xf bcm4318*.tar.gz)
  5. Lancer le script d'installation (sudo ./ndiswrapper_setup)
Le Wifi est normalement opérationnel. Vous pouvez maintenant installer network-manager-gnome pour la prise en charge, notamment, du cryptage WPA.
